I love doing yoga, but I don’t get to yoga classes very often. Working at home has its perks, but I still haven’t been making it to classes. It is like there has been a lot going on or something. Lol. Even though I know it is good for me and would help… you know how that goes.
Thankfully a few years back a friend suggested looking up yoga videos on YouTube. In particular, she suggested checking out “Yoga with Adriene.” I immediately fell in love with Adriene. Not only does she have some great videos of all different lengths, she usually has her super cute dog with her. How can you go wrong with yoga and a dog?

Being able to watch these videos and do yoga at home has been so helpful lately. It’s been a rough couple of months, actually years, and it’s SO nice being able to relax with some yoga at home. Usually, I would sit down with a book to relax for a bit but I’ve been having a hard time concentrating enough to really enjoy reading.
I just pull out my yoga mat, flip on the TV, and center myself. I don’t have to gather my stuff, get in the car, and drive to a class. In just a couple of minutes, I’m able to be on my mat and start my practice. Even if I just do a 15-minute practice, at least I’m doing it. It is amazing the difference it makes.
I’m hoping to make yoga a regular part of my daily life and maybe even make it out to a couple of in-person classes. Some of the local breweries host yoga classes on the weekends – you can’t go wrong with yoga and beer!
