Friday Five: Festive Holiday Cocktails

This week I am bringing back the Friday Five! Today I will be sharing five festive holiday cocktails that are sure to bring a smile to your face.

Orange Cranberry Margaritas

I made these for a holiday party and they were a huge hit! I had made a batch ahead of time, but ended up having to make two more during the party because they were so tasty. I loved adding fresh cranberries and a wedge of lime to make them even more festive! Bonus – they are super easy to make.

When my best friend first told me about Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack I was intrigued. We tried it on one of my trips to see her and we both really liked it. The very next day I started looking for cocktail ideas that this could be used for. This was one of the first I came across and the one I’m most excited about trying.

Rudolph’s Tipsy Spritzer

This cocktail will have you feeling jolly in no time and is perfect for sipping while you decorate the tree, or (virtually) serving to friends at the annual Christmas party. If the North Pole had a signature drink, I think this would be it! I love that you can make up a batch of these ahead of time, which is always a plus during the holidays.

Peppermintini

Of course, I HAD to include a peppermint cocktail on this list. It is pretty and festive! In addition to making a fun cocktail, you can get out any pent up holiday stress when you beat the heck out of the peppermints. If you wanted to get really girlie (I mean festive), you could even had a drop of red food coloring to make it pink.

Merry Berry Buck

Bring a smile to someone’s face with this joyful blend of sweet, sour, tart and spice. Cold, colorful and batch-ready, the Merry Berry Buck is just right for the holidays.

I hope this list inspires you to have some fun with your cocktails this season, even with the weirdness that we all are experiencing. I know I will be trying out a few of these myself in the coming weeks.
