I am very excited to announce that I have been picked to be a part of Marriott’s Wish You Were Here – Florida campaign!
Life’s better in flip flops!
Escape to Florida this summer and choose from over 30 Marriott hotels. Find quality, location, and value at each participating hotel to create the ideal Florida vacation.
Plus, each hotel offers free high-speed Internet access and more! From Jacksonville to Miami, whether visiting Florida for the beautiful beaches, world-class attractions, shopping or golf, you will find the right Marriott hotel for your stay.
**Be sure that promotional code SUM appears in the Corporate/Promotional code box when making your online reservation, or call 1-800-228-9290 in the US and ask for promotional code SUM.
I will be heading to the Residence Inn Miami Airport in sunny Miami, FL! Residence Inn is pet friendly, so I will be bringing along my dog Pepper (along with my momma and her dog Ozzie). I love my dog and would love to travel with her all the time, but a lot of hotels either aren’t pet friendly or won’t take a dog her size (she is a 74 pound lab!). When I found out that I was going to be able to bring my pup along on this adventure I was super excited. Add in my mom and her dog and its bound to be fun!
The hotel features complimentary wireless internet (a must have for this blogger), complimentary continental breakfast, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool & spa. The hotel is also ALL suites – they offer studio, 1-bedroom, family and 2-bedroom options. The rooms provide separate spaces for cooking, living and sleeping. They even have a full kitchen!
We haven’t decided what we are going to do during our trip to Miami, but I’m sure it will include a trip to the beach, some time by the pool, and a bit of shopping.
Be sure to follow along with the campaign on Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest! There are folks going all over Florida, so it will be fun to see where everyone goes. I will also be posting here and on my personal Twitter & Instagram accounts.
*Disclosure: Marriott is providing me with a weekend stay at the Residence Inn Miami Aiport and a travel stipend as part of this program. What I do during my trip is entirely up to me. All opinions regarding Marriott and Residence Inn are my own.
