Not-So-Scary Halloween in Orlando

I love love LOVE Halloween, but I’m really not into all the super scary stuff. Thankfully there are plenty of not-so-scary Halloween activities to do in and around Orlando this month. I’m bummed that I will be missing out on a few of these, but that doesn’t mean that you all can’t take advantage.

Spooky Star Party

The Seminole State Planetarium has a fun lineup of Halloween-themed events, including a FREE Star Party on October 21 from 6-9:30pm. The event includes telescope viewings, a chemistry demonstration, planetarium shows, and more. Wear your Halloween costume!

Spooky Zoo Wild Art & Wine
Wednesday, October 25, 6:30-9pm
Central Florida Zoo
Enjoy wine and hors-d’oeuvres while an instructor helps you paint an animal portrait during this 21+ event. Wear your best costume!
Cost: $40-$45/person

Junior League of Greater Orlando Halloween Hustle 5k

The Junior League of Greater Orlando is thrilled to announce the date of the 10th Annual Halloween Hustle 5K, their premier fundraising event! Thursday, October 26, 2017 will be a frightfully fun night for families of all ages. Activities include a chip-timed 5K run/walk, kids fun run, carnival games and activities for adults and children alike. Participants registered before October 15 will be guaranteed to receive a t-shirt, and 5K finishers will receive a medal. From trick-or-treating for the kids to vendors, food trucks and music, it’s an event for all ages.

Halloween Spooktoberfest In Casselberry
October 27, 5-9 pm
Family and pet-friendly event held at Lake Concord Park. There will be a parade, kids and pets costume contest, crafts and food.

Eden Bar’s 10th Anniversary Halloween Party

Join Eden Bar and Micheal Myers for a bloody good time at Eden Bar’s Halloween Party! Come dressed to impress in your best costume and bring your friends for a party that’s to die for. Join in for some scary eats and toxic drinks. Then, jam out to some spooktacular music.
