Did you know that my blog turned FIVE this month? Well it did and I decided that I needed to do something special to celebrate – so I’m doing a super fun giveaway!
Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining month starts today and runs through October 2nd. During this time period select Orlando restaurants will offer prix fixe dinners for just $33. Indulge in imaginative appetizers, entrees and desserts sure to leave you spellbound. In addition to be able to try out some of Orlando’s best restaurants, one dollar from each meal will be donated to The Russell Home for atypical children.
Last week I was able to attend a sneak preview of the Magical Dining menu for Urban Tide at Hyatt Regency Orlando. Even though I’ve stayed at the resort numerous times I hadn’t had a chance to check out Urban Tide yet, so I was super excited.
With so many delicious sounding options available on the Magical Dining menu it was hard to make up my mind on what to try. Finally I decided to go with the Plantain Crusted Diver Scallop with beet root mash, pickled corn and chorizo salsa, Florida Atlantic Swordfish with olive oil and green onion crushed potatoes, Maine lobster bisque, and the Intense chocolate mousse with caramelized macadamia nuts, fudgy brownie bites for dessert. Oh. Em. Gee.
I enjoyed every last bite of the appetizer, entree, and dessert that I picked. And let me tell you that it was a LOT of food too. They don’t skimp on anything here just because it is a special menu. Urban Tide is still serving up the best of the best.
