Nutpods Whole 30 Iced Coffee

Even though I’m officially done with my first round of Whole 30, I’m trying to keep a lot of the good habits that I learned. I like dairy so I added that back into my diet, but I’m trying to keep it out where I can. One of those places is my coffee. I either go with no milk or cream at all, or use coconut or almond milk if its available and I really need it. So I was excited to learn about Nutpods.

Nutpods Whole 30 Iced Coffee

Nutpods is a dairy-free creamer made from heart-healthy almonds, MCT-rich coconuts. It doesn’t have any Carrageenan, Dairy, Soy, Gluten, High-Fructose Corn Syrup, Refined Sugars & Sugar Alcohols. Hooray for being Whole 30! What does it have? Just purified water, coconut cream, almonds, natural flavors. It comes in french vanilla, hazelnut, and original flavors.

With how hot it is already in Florida I decided to try making some iced coffee with Nutpods french vanilla and some of my favorite Barnie’s coffee. I just have a Keurig at home so I started by making a “cup” of iced coffee. One serving actually ends up being enough for two glasses of iced coffee once you add the creamer.

I split the coffee between two glasses and added 1/4 cup of Nutpods french vanilla. I know it looks really light, but that has more to do with the light roast of the coffee then the amount of cream. I ended up with a slightly sweet glass of iced coffee that is perfect for a hot summer day. What I love most about Nutpods is you get that creaminess that comes from dairy without all the other added junk that you don’t need. And its got just enough sweetness to make you THINK you are having a bad for you treat.

If you do want to be a little bad with your iced coffee creation, think about topping it with some whipped cream or added a bit of coconut rum to turn it into a nightcap. However you chose to have your iced coffee is up to you!
