Today’s Local Love post is about one of my favorite places to shop in one of my favorite places to visit – Nourish in Savannah. My bestie Laura introduced me to Nourish on one of our first trips to Savannah together many years ago. Now I make sure to stop into Nourish any time that I’m in town.
Nourish happens to be one of the awesome sponsors of the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon and last year every participant received one of their bath fizzies in their goodie bags. Laura is a big fan of their bath fizzies so I was excited to get one of my own to try out. I don’t take a lot of baths, but this definitely made it a lot more fun when I did!
At Nourish, they are proud to be doing their part to keep the planet clean while reducing their carbon footprint. They have operated as a green company since the 1990’s, providing environmentally-friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable products that are good for our bodies and the earth. They make recycling a priority and invest in every effort to minimize the environmental impact of their daily routine. They only package in recyclable, reusable and/or biodegradable containers.
Nourish products contain no parabens, no sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium laureth sulfate, no animal products, no petroleum, no harsh detergents, and no mineral oil. Nourish products are good for you AND the environment!
I was sent Rosemary Mint moisturizing wash, Rosemary Mint bath fizzies, lip balm, and a peach soy candle. I must admit that I was a little worried at first because, well, I’m not a fan of rosemary. So I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the moisturizing wash and LOVED the scent. Rosemary and mint go so well together and have a nice scent that isn’t too overpowering. I can’t use products that leave a lasting smell, and these are perfect. I smell nice and girly for a bit, but don’t feel like a walking perfume ad.
The peach soy candle was my favorite thing out of the bunch! I love that it has such a wonderfully southern smell and it portable so I can take it with me. I’ve been doing a lot of traveling recently and have noticed that hotels, regardless of how nice they are, tend to have a certain “smell” to them that isn’t always pleasant. I will definitely be taking this candle with me the next time I head out of town.
Are you heading to the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon and 5K in April? Nourish is a proud sponsor of the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon and 5K.
