Crafty Crusade – Part 3

Part 3: Cupcake Card

I’ve had a thing for cupcakes for year and until recently you couldn’t find any cupcake scrapbook punches. So I came up with a way to make my own cupcakes using two of my favorite Fiskars squeeze punches – Seal of Approval (Large) and Hip to be Square (Large).

If you insert your paper ¾ of the way into the Hip to be Square punch, you get just the right size piece for a “cupcake wrapper.” I accordion fold mine to make it look like a wrapper, but you could also run your paper through the Fiskars paper crimper first and get the same effect. For the “cupcake” part I use the Seal of Approval punch, and then cut it in half. And there you have it – a super cute customizable cupcake for any crafty project.
