So I’ve been wanting to try out this recipe for Black-Bean and Brown-Rice Cakes from Everyday Food for awhile now. And since I happened to have everything on hand to make them, I thought I’d give it a try. It makes 8 cakes, so I cooked 2 and put the rest in the freezer (for up to 2 weeks) to have later. They aren’t the prettiest thing in the world, but they were yummy and filling. I think the yogurt sauce would have been tasty too but I didn’t have the ingredients for that. They would also make tasty burgers.
