Beer and Beaches – Girls trip to Hotel Cabana Clearwater Beach

One of the benefits of living in Florida is that it is “beach weather” pretty much year round. Where in most of the country Labor Day means the end of summer, for us it just means its back to school time. So this year i’m planning a little girls trip to Hotel Cabana Clearwater Beach.

Hotel Cabana has a rich, multi-decade history. Originally built in 1947 as a single story building and named Coca Cabana, the hotel has always been a haven for laid-back sun lovers to enjoy the beach in a warm and welcoming environment. They’ve had many names – including most recently the North Sunrise Motel, but they’ve always had a common goal: to welcome people to Clearwater Beach, one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Guests at Hotel Cabana enjoy laid-back living at its finest during their stay in Clearwater Beach. The property includes a heated swimming pool, sun deck, complimentary Wi-Fi, cable tv, and easy beach access – it is just a block away!

We will be enjoying one of Hotel Cabana’s one-bedroom suites  which feature added space to relax. They include a sleeper sofa, flat-screen TV, kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, private step-in shower, individually controlled air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. A separate bedroom features a king bed.

Many of Clearwater Beach’s best restaurants are just minutes from the boutique hotel. When I think of white sand beaches, the thought of a cool and refreshing adult beverage isn’t far behind. Thankfully, many of Clearwater Beach’s best bars are just a short walk from the hotel.

Clearwater Beach is also just across the river from Dunedin, which is home to quite a few breweries. So in addition to spending some time beach-side we will also be heading there to try out some local brews. What is better than a weekend full of Beer and Beaches?

*Disclosure: I have been provided with a complimentary stay at Hotel Cabana Clearwater Beach. As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

OMG you have an old pic of when it was the Coco Cabana from the 1980s! My dad and family took me there multiple times in the early to mid 1980s. I was 12-15. What a wonderful place that little find was. I still have pics of us in that same pool. Some stuff has changed but its nice the outside looks almost the same. The beach is just across the street and beautiful.
