Just a quick update to let everyone know that I’m still on track with “The Plan.” I know what you are thinking… It is only day two, you sure as hell better still be on track!? Yes yes, I know I SHOULD still be on track but we all know that sometimes that just isn’t the case. THIS is not one of those cases.
I had a slow afternoon at work so I was able to get through the 30 pages of reading that was on the schedule without a problem. I even got to put my super cool new owl bookmark to good use.
My yucky day at work (it was a total mess before the slow afternoon) put me in a fairly crappy mood, but I was determined that I would run when I got home. I changed immediately and went right over to the small gym here at my apartment complex. The first order of business was to weight myself. I don’t do this a whole lot, but with how non-existent my workout routine has been lately I wanted to see what I was working with. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was actually down a pound from the last time I checked. WOO HOO! Now I am just 5 small pounds away from my goal weight – I want to get back down to what I weighed in October of 2009 (6 weeks after my husband left). Almost there!
Today I put in some time on the treadmill and then a couple more miles on the bike. Even inside it was just so hot to be exercising! I have no idea how Im going to make it through the summer.
So there ya have it. Day #2 of “The Plan” is complete! Whats on the schedule for tomorrow? Vacuum, Craft, & a Blog post. I plan to work on the sewing project that got sidelined yesterday when I decided to make cards instead. And just between you and I… I may have all ready done the blog post for tomorrow 🙂
