The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series Virtual Run is back and ready for Summer! Summer Strides is a chance to run an awesome Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series event wherever and whenever you want. Pick your favorite pair of running shoes and run along the boardwalk, on a treadmill or run with a group through the park to capture these Summer Strides medals! You’ll get some of the same benefits as running one of their races in person, including a runner’s bib, the finisher zone, exclusive finisher medals, discounts, and more.
I decided to use the Summer Strides series as a way to help keep myself motivation with training this summer. Last night at Ten10 Run club I earned the first medal of the series, the Pheidippides medal! With the crazy heat and my lack of motivation this week, knowing that my training run was also going to earn me a shiny new medal helped a lot. Up next in the series is the Legacy medal – Talk about kicking it old school!
