Jost Running Virtual Race Giveaway

I thought I would go ahead and do ANOTHER New Year’s running giveaway. Two is always better than one right?

This giveaway is for a Jost Running Virtual Race entry!

Half Full for site.jpg

Look at that spiffy medal! You could use this virtual race as a training run (maybe for a full) or motivation to get you through a race you are already registered for in January. Either way, it would be a fun medal to add to your collection.

One lucky reader will win an entry for the Jost Running January Half/Full marathon. Your prize will include a fancy medal, a running bib, and your results posted on their website.

Jost Running suggests that you run the 1/2 Marathon between January 12th and 18th, and the full between January 26th and February 1st. But as long as you run your distance in the month of January it will count and you will receive your medal!

For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post with one of your running goals for 2014. My main goal is to complete 5 half marathons in 2014. I am already registered for 3, so I think it is a pretty reasonable goal.

This contest is open until 11:59 pm on January 5th, so make sure to leave your comment before then!

Oh! I really want to do a Jost run. Excellent giveaway!

This year my goal is to PR at my 22nd Bolder Boulder and run a half or two.

Bolder Boulder is the BEST 10K ever (to put it mildly). It’s been voted as Runner’s World All-Time Best 10K. It’s on Memorial Day in Boulder, Colorado, each year and has almost 50,000 runners, but it’s so well run you would never guess it has that many people. It concludes with a huge Memorial Day celebration that includes honoring veteran. http://www.bolderboulder.com/

I already have this beautiful medal so please keep me out of the running. But I wanted to share my goal to run 1,000 miles in 2014. Also to pull as many new runners into the sport as possible.

Well… as for goals – I was thinking this year I might try and slow down on the number of races I do over the course of the year (last year 17 half marathons and a bunch of smaller races). But… I believe goals, like new year’s resolutions are only a guideline. I am doing back to back 10K this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Tinkerbell 10K and Half Marathon MLK weekend, and Vancouver Lake, WA Half the following Sunday! whoo hoo!!!

    • Meghan says:

Slowing down huh Sue? 🙂 Its okay… starting Jan 25th I have 5 races in 11 weeks, 3 of which are half marathons.

My goal is to successfully finish 8 marathons and 16 halfs on my 2014 wish list. Fast, slow, running, jogging, crawling…doesnt matter. Just want to keep doing what I love the most and staying healthy because of it 🙂

My goal is to complete not just one, but two half marathons. My longest mileage completed is 9 miles 3 years ago. I suffered some serious setbacks this past year, including breast cancer, and I am ready to take on 2014 to the nth degree! Bring it on!

I remember my first 1/2 Nicole. It was hard, but I’m sure you’l be able to do it and have a great time 🙂

    What a great give away!
My first running goal this year is to run (without stopping) my first 5k in February. (I’ve only walked them before) I’m 40 pounds down in my weight loss journey and have been enjoying my training so far!
    Thank you!
