New Years is the perfect time of year to get back on track with your running goals. And what better way to get on track than with a goal race for 2014, and I have the perfect things to help you out with that…
A free entry to the Best Damn Race!
One lucky reader will get a free entry to ANY race distance for either Safety Harbor or Orlando.
For your chance to win, leave a comment telling me your dream race. Mine? Right now it is the Nike Women’s 1/2 Marathon in DC. I’ve never been to DC and I would love that Tiffany necklace 🙂
This contest is open until 11:59 pm on January 5th, so make sure to leave your comment before then!
I would LOVE to run the Niagra Falls Marathon just for the view! For the bling, I would agree about the Nike Women’s Marathon-plus I’ve never been to DC either and would love to run through it! My husband and I are already signed up for the BDR 5k in Orlando, but it would be great to run the half in Safety Harbor! Thanks for this giveaway!
That would be a great race Katie! Glad to hear you are already signed up for BDR Orlando 🙂 I am doing the half in both locations!
My dream race is the Nike Women’s 1/2 in DC too! Hopefully next year!
I was gonna apply again for 2014, but I have a race in Raleigh the week before and it just wouldn’t have worked out. Maybe 2015 is our year!
One of my dream races was completed this year when I did NYC…it was so amazing that I would love to do it again!!! Next on my list is Chicago or Marine Corps…both cities have very special meaning to me so I would love to run them! I’ll also be returning to Asheville to run the Biltmore Marathon this year which is awesome because Asheville is where I set the goal to run a 5k once in my life 4 years ago and now I’m a marathoner! I guess I have more than 1 dream race, but they are all different and all mean something else 🙂
Congrats on NYC! What a wonderful accomplishment 🙂
My dream race would be the Boston Marathon. I promised my self I would complete it by age 30 so I do have some time left. I grew up in Boston and every year we would go and watch the race in my home town at mile 9. I never planned on being a runner but I picked it up after college and it has been a great emotional outlet for me and a way to meet amazing people. I want to run the even for charity to make it that more meaningful.
That sounds wonderful Jennifer! I ran Napa to Sonoma 1/2 over the summer for Team Challenge and it was an AMAZING experience.
My dream race would be the Ultra Caballo Blanco in Chihuahua México. I am doing my first 50k in February and hope to continue training until I can do at least a 50 miler 🙂
A 50k?! That is amazing! I’m sure you will be well on your way to 50 miles in no time!
My Dream Race…Always Comrades Marathon…which is not really a Marathon, but a 55 mile Ultra in South Africa. it’s a really challenging course with an appropriate time limit, so never sure I’ll be fit enough to run it, but it’s my dream race. I sure would LOVE to run the 10K BDR though in Orlando!!! (Or maybe the Half…) I had an adductor tear in November and am just rehabbing along rather slowly…Thanks for the giveaway! Pick me Pick me!

Oh wow, what an amazing race that must be! I hope that you continue healing and that you will be back to running in no time.
I would love to do a disney coast to coast! I run in disney world race all the time! I’ve never been to California and would love to go some day!
I would love to do that as well 🙂
NYC! New York is my home state and I started running with this race in mind. However I had a heart attack at 31 and my plans have fallen a little short. I would love to run it for the American Heart Association charity team!
What a great goal Sarah 🙂
I want to destroy a tough mudder run and a half marathon. I am 32 and my first ever 5k a year ago. I have come a long way but am looking to push myself to the limits.
I started running at 31 (about 3 years ago) and I’ve done 5 half marathons now, so I know you can do it Jonathan!
I would love to win this! My dream race is Nike in San Francisco. I would love the necklace and love an opportunity to visit the city again.
I would love to run that race as well, but I’m a little terrified of all those hills!
Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco
This seems to be a common one 🙂 I’m still afraid of those hills!
Right now my dream race is Disney Princess Half. I started training last year for BDR 10k and ran my first half in Nov. So it’d be awesome to run 2nd in Orlando
I’ve done the Disney Princess 1/2 twice and loved it 🙂
My dream race is Big Sur. I imagine the view is incredible!
I have a friend that did Big Sur last year…. the pictures where amazing!
My dream race would be to do the Great Wall of China marathon!! I just started running off road races a few months ago and im hooked! Im signed up for my first half in April. I love special and unique coures and cant wait to be able to run a full marathon. 😉
I would probably fall flat on my face! I need my courses to be a little more…. even. Lol
I just did the Disney Wine and Dine and it was alot of fun! I would love the chance to do this one in Safety Harbor – so beautiful there!
The race in Safety Harbor is SO nice! I loved running along the water 🙂
The Great Wall of China Marathon. Can you imagine?? What a once in a lifetime experience.

So neat!
I really want to be a part of a Ragnar Relay…it just seems like a great life adventure! With lots of stories to tell afterwards. Hoping to do the Key West one next year!
That would be so fun! I know some people who have done Ragnar and loved it 🙂
My dream race is the Mayor’s Midnight Marathon in Archorage, Alaska. It is held on the Summer Soltice – this will be my Alaska race (50-State Marathoner)!!
My dream race would be to do the Dopey Challenge at Disney. A 5K, 10K, half, and full all in four days would be an awesome physical feat. Plus, you’ll bring home tons of bling.
Very true! I have a couple friends that are doing it this year.
My dream race, right now, is just one that I can do and run the entire distance!
I am right there with you Terrie!
