Cute as a Button is OPEN!

At the end of May I decided to open an Etsy shop. I created my Etsy account, a matching gmail address… and well, that was that. I hadn’t done anything with it. Every time I started thinking about adding things to the shop, or what I should add to the shop, or if anyone would buy it I would just freak out and forget about it for awhile. Well that all changed today! When I talked to my aunt yesterday she was telling me how much she loved the birthday card that I made her and that I should look into selling them in shops around town. I started thinking about it some more today and how I’d hate going shop to shop having people tell me no, so I decided to just add the cards to my Etsy shop. This way I can try it out but be a wuss at the same time 🙂 So today I worked on some cards and added 5 of them to my shop – 1 individual card and 2 sets of 2 cards. Woo hoo!

You can check out my shop Cute As A Button if you want to see what I have available. I have also places an Etsy widget over on the right hand side that will show the most recent additions to the shop. I plan to add holiday cards in the coming weeks and some sewn items as well.

I checked out your etsy store. Your cards are adorable! What are you thinking of sewing? I think it would be cool to have some cards that have “stitching” details on them. Keep it up, your store looks great!

Thanks! I currently have been making baby bibs and aprons which I’ll hopefully be adding over the next week or so. Cards with stitching details on them is a great idea 🙂
