With the start of October and the (temporary) drop in temperatures, it officially feels a little like fall and Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar is getting into the Halloween spirit with the debut of its special limited-time-only Candy Corn Martini. The fall-themed cocktail is currently available and will run throughout October at the bar and in the dining room during dinner daily beginning at 5 p.m.
Garnished with candy corn, the festive martini is made with vanilla vodka, Crème de Cacao, butterscotch schnapps, fresh orange juice and a splash of grenadine.
When I found out about the Candy Corn Martini I knew that I had to find out how to make it. Thankfully the folks at Cuba Libre are super nice and agreed to share the recipe with us!
1.25 oz Vanilla Vodka
.5 oz Butterscotch Schnapps
.5 oz Creme de Cacao
2 oz Fresh orange juice
Splash of grenadine poured slowly over a bar spoon for layered effect
Garnish with Candy Corn
Doesn’t that sound amazing? I can’t wait to make one for myself. This counts as a new house DIY project right? 🙂
