One of my 6 goals in 6 weeks this time around is to complete a 6 week 1/2 marathon training plan. I found this particular plan via Suja. It looked totally doable (and reasonable) so I decided to try it out. I’ve attempted training plans in the past and I’ve just never been able to stick to them. Since next month I will be running my first 1/2 marathon since February I decided to give myself a little bit of an extra push.
I’m not sure I’ve ever run 6 days a week for 6 weeks straight!
I’m hoping that since this is part of my 6 goals in 6 weeks that I will really stick to it. I know that if I run more and stick to a plan that I will improve my time and feel a lot better at the end of a race. But try convincing me of that after a long day at work and then running errands. Sometimes the couch just sounds so much better!
But I’m going to give this a try and see what happens. I WILL get that PR!
