Would you rather…

…Run a Christmas themed event in the heat or the snow?

I’ve never run in the snow, but running a Christmas themed event in the heat (which I’ve done) is just weird. Bring on the cool weather!

…Sing / listen to Christmas songs during your run, or wear a Christmas outfit during your run?

I think I’d rather wear a Christmas outfit during my run. Christmas songs tend to be very short and I think they would be distracting.

… A new running watch, or an entry fee to a running event?

Entry fee to a running event! I just got a Garmin Forerunner 10 for my birthday and I really don’t need to upgrade yet. Plus the amount of money spent on the running watch would get me entry into a pretty snazzy race.

… Go for a run before your Christmas meal or after?

Before! You can’t run on a full stomach – that is just asking for trouble.

…Listen to an Audiobook / Podcast on running, or read a book about running?

I’d rather read a book about running. I’ve just never really gotten into audiobooks or podcasts.

… A year access to an online running coach or 5 one-on-one visits to a running coach?

5 one-on-one visits to a running coach for sure! Online “training” is great, but I am the kind of person that needs someone to help hold me accountable. Those one-on-one visits would definitely help with that.

… Give up your Christmas to help those in need (like a soup kitchen), or spend your Christmas with ALL your family?

Wow, this is a hard one. Even though my family isn’t THAT big, I’ve never spent a holiday with all of them. I think at this point in my life I would pick spending the day with my entire family. Then next year I could volunteer 🙂

… Watch Love Actually or The Holiday?

This is a hard one too! I actually watched both of these this past week. I love them both for different reasons. I guess if I HAD to pick just one, I’d go with Love Actually.
