I’ve run just over 20 miles this month. Unfortunately, 13.1 one of those were due to the 1/2 marathon at the beginning of the month.
I just can’t find the motivation to run.
I haven’t been sleeping well and when I do sleep I wake up with aches and pains.
I’ve tried running a couple of times and my body just isn’t cooperating.
I have a 5k fun run in 2 weeks… I’ll probably drop dead at mile 1.
I only seem to want to run when its not feasible (right before bed, while I’m at work, when I’ve been drinking, etc).
Where is my motivation? If you happen to find it, can you please send it back to me?
Listen to your body and take a break. Your mind will win all the little battles against the body, the motivation is still there…let it come back to you naturally.
