Green Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts?? Now THIS is a St Patrick’s Day gimmick that I can get behind!
An apostrophe has never been so fun! And a doughnut has never been so green! St. Patrick’s Day themed doughnuts including the Chocolate Iced Glazed with Sprinkles, Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled, White Iced Glazed and classic Shamrock are available now through March 17 at Krispy Kreme shops throughout Central Florida.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in unprecedented fashion by changing the name of its most iconic doughnut to O’riginal Glazed while bringing back its specially formulated green dough. Krispy Kreme’s Green O’riginal Glazed Doughnut will be available for one day only on Friday, March 17, at all shops in Central Florida.
“St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect occasion to change the color of the Original Glazed®, and our customers love sharing them with family and friends,” said Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. “What’s even rarer – like finding a four-leaf clover – is altering the name of such an iconic product. We’ve never done it. But in this instance, it’s fun and joyful, just like the holiday.”
