Home is where the heart is and the heart is where gratitude is. So it stands to reason that home is a place to find gratitude. Maybe it’s the whole house or maybe it’s just one room, a porch or even a favorite chair. Maybe it’s just a place that feels like home. Taking a moment to note where you find comfort and solice from this sometimes crazy world is a great opportunity for thanks.
Today’s prompt is PERFECT for me. I have been in New Orleans for 4 days now and I am more than ready to go home. It’s a very cool city and the conference has been amazing, but I’m ready for home. I miss my dog. I miss my couch and my bed. I miss my shower. I miss my car. I miss my constant internet connection. Lol. I miss my friends and my family. I’m just ready to be living out of a suitcase. I’m grateful that my job only takes me away from home a couple of times a year 🙂
