I was introduced to Food Should Taste Good a few years back when they sent some donations for a fundraiser that I was hosting. We usually provided a lot of sweets and I decided it might be nice to add in a snack or two that was actually good for you. Snacks can be tasty AND good for you right? Food Should Taste Good sure thinks so!
Founder Pete Lescoe created Food Should Taste Good, Inc in 2006 with the goal of making a unique new snack with great taste, real ingredients, and sophisticated flavor – the qualities he is most passionate about in food. Food Should Taste Good chips are made from high quality ingredients. All chip varieties are gluten free, cholesterol free, have zero grams trans fats. They are also certified Kosher. Plus, many varieties are certified vegan. Food Should Taste Good chips are available nationally at conventional grocers and natural food markets.
I was super excited when I found out I’d be receiving a box of their product to review for the blog. I love chips but rarely buy them because I end up eating WAY too many. I was interested to find out if these “good for me” chips would be able to satisfy my chip cravings.
The answer is yes! I loved every flavor that I was able to try. I wasn’t so sure what I would think about the Olive and Jalapeno with Cheddar flavors, but they were amazing and ended up being my favorites. The Olive flavor had a nice saltiness to it and the Jalapeno with Cheddar had just the right kick for a wuss like me.
The chips are 140 calories per serving (about 12 chips) and became a nightly snack for me. It was just enough to get me over “the munchies” while watching tv without loading me down with guilt and calories close to bed time. Ya know what else is cool? That you can pronounce everything on their ingredient lists! No wondering what in the world THAT ingredient is.
Regardless of how “healthy” of a lifestyle I want to lead, I will ALWAYS be a snacker. So when I find healthy snacks that also taste good it is a definite win in my book! Sometimes you just need a tasty treat 🙂

I love the sweet potato ones, but the olive ones sound interesting, too!
The olive ones have the salty flavor from the olives, without tasting too olivey. Does that make sense? Lol.
