Over the summer I got a new phone (the LG G2) which was a good deal bigger than my old phone. One of the first things I had to do was buy a new armband to hold it while I’m running. I don’t use it for short runs, but I need it for longer training runs and races. It worked fine, but was a pain to get my phone in and out of. A have a case on it and in order to easily get the phone in and out of the armband I had to take the case off (which was a pain). So I started just leaving the case on it, which meant once the phone was in there that was it.
I started thinking that I needed a new armband but really didn’t know how to pick a new one. My friend Andrea uses an Armpocket for her iPhone and I was super jealous at how easy it was for her to get her phone in and out of it. And she had room to stuff other things in there as well. I checked out their website and learned that they had one big enough to hold my new phone. Score!
I always worry about buying new running gear because honestly, it usually isn’t that cheap. I understand that you pay more for quality, but it still makes me nervous. The Ultra i-35 fits larger phones like the iPhone 6 (with case) Galaxy S5 or Note 3 and other devices/cases up to 6″. My phone is just over 5.5″ with the case, so I opted for this case just to make sure I had a little extra room. When you order your Armpocket you can pick a small, medium, or large arm strap. They even have a super helpful size guide so you know which one to order.
My arm was right around 10″ so I could have gone with the Small or the Medium. I’d rather have too much than too light, so I decided to get the Medium strap.

My arm band holder for my phone doesn’t fit anymore either. It’s so annoying.

I’m in the same boat as some above – got the Xtreme i-30 then upgraded my phone (Galaxy S4). The phone fits, but not while in it’s in the Lifeproof case. I would go for the i-35.
I had that problem with my last case, couldnt fit the phone with the case which is a pain!
I’d go with the Ultra™ i-35.. I have a 4s but I’m going to be upgrading my phone soon so there’s room for growth! =)
I’d go with the ultra to fit my iPhone 6 plus other essentials.
