After seeing a post like this on Mile Posts this week, I decided it would be something fun to try out myself. So here are 25 random, and not so random, things you might not know about me (in no particular order)…
- I’m an only child.
- I have lived in Florida my whole life – I am a true Floridian!
- I don’t eat steak.
- I went to UF to major in Architecture.
- I worked in the telecom industry for 8 years before switching gears and landing in the non-profit world.
- I swear like a freaking sailor.
- I ran my first half marathon in 2011 and had NO intention of ever running another one. On Sunday I did #15!
- I was married once.
- I have traveled to 3 states to run races. I am headed to State #4, Texas, in two weeks.
- I have a slight obsession with tacos. And flamingos.
- I used to work at a miniature golf course (actually two of them) and I was REALLY good at mini golf.
- I have 5 extra holes in my head.
- I am taller than both of my parents.
- I love to bake!
- I have a very large collection of vintage pyrex.
- I love mid century modern design. I have a 1950s house that I’m slowly filling with mid century mod pieces.
- I don’t keep soda in my house.
- Until about 3 years ago I didn’t like beer.
- I HATE flying. Like, super duper hate it.
- I have never smoked pot.
- I work in the roofing industry.
- I have a strange love affair with tequila.
- Both of my hips were dislocated when I was born.
- I had chronic appendicitis and landed in the hospital twice before I ended up having my appendix removed during emergency surgery.
- My last two cars have been the same make, model, and color.
